Job summary

Public Service Electric & Gas Co. seeks a Manager Contract Administration and Supplier Performance to lead contract administration and vendor performance. The role oversees Contract Managers and Analysts and drives supplier contract execution across lifecycle.

The position requires experience in pre-qualification of vendors, and implementing Supplier Performance Management (SPM) programs. Hybrid work with strong collaboration across departments is offered.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree.
• 5-7 years of experience of Contract administration of which 2-3 years in construction.
• Savvy business judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external contacts.
• Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
• Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.
• 2-3 years of experience with Supplier Management.
• Advanced degree (JD and/or MBA preferred).
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of Utility Operations.
• Experience with: SAP; Ariba; CLM; SharePoint; McLarenand PowerAdvocate.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for developing strategies related to contract management and service quality and participating in cross-functional teams for the development of common policies and procedures.
• This position has extensive interaction with: Procurement, Commercial Legal, Business Assurance & Resilience, Risk Management, I.T., Asset Management & Centralized Services, Corporate Real Estate, and others.
