Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a field related to the position.

• Master's Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update vendor records in the University's databases to ensure accuracy.
• Serve as frontline against fraud using IRS data and other checks.
• Educate vendors on invoicing, payment terms, and requirements; respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with campus units on Emburse vendor records and payments.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors and campus units to promote understanding of AP policies and resolve discrepancies.
• Compose correspondence or make calls to resolve data issues (names, TINs, addresses).
• Identify and implement process improvements in Accounts Payable; assist with procedures.
• Represent University Payables in cross-functional meetings and committees.
