Job summary

Ford in Dearborn, MI is seeking a senior logistics leader to oversee end-to-end vehicle logistics, from upfitting to delivery, with focus on optimizing Ship-Thru, Drop Ship, and Upfitter networks. You will lead cross-functional readiness for major fleet accounts and launches, and ensure production alignment through weekends and holidays.

You will drive continuous improvement, track KPIs, and influence executive decision making while collaborating with plants, carriers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and oral communication: presenting to senior leadership.
• Ability to influence change and navigate complexity.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and solid organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; analytics mindset; AI tools experience.
• Ford QLS/AVS familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end vehicle logistics operations from upfit to delivery.
• Design and optimize Ship-Thru, Drop Ship, and Upfitter networks.
• Lead cross-functional readiness for major fleet accounts and launches.
• Provide coverage during non-standard operating windows to align with production.
• Track KPIs, improve ETA accuracy and implement corrective actions.
