Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI is seeking an Engineering/Continuous Improvement professional to support the Parts Supply & Logistics (PS&L) team within FCSD. You will help improve facility layouts, research best practices, develop business cases, and implement advanced technology solutions in a fast-paced operations environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams, performing data-driven analysis, and delivering projects on time and within budget

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience with facility layout/design and continuous improvement preferred.
Experience with data visualization and BI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and install solutions at Ford distribution operations with vendors.
Collaborate across Ford functions including purchasing, finance, manufacturing, and labor.
Process requisitions, approvals, POs, invoices, and reconcile discrepancies.
Use AutoCAD to adjust facility CAD drawings.
Analyze material flow, benchmark OEMs, and build business cases.
Present findings to FCSD leadership.
