Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a senior specialist to drive automation and optimization across the Parts Supply & Logistics organization. You will lead vendor evaluations, build ROI cases, and manage multi-project initiatives in a fast-paced facility environment.

Based in the Detroit metro area, you will travel and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, finance, and purchasing teams to deliver scalable solutions and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Supply Chain or Industrial Eng. required.
• 5+ years of material handling automation/systems experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Strong operations knowledge, preferably distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Review technology and vendor evaluation for strategic initiatives.
• Present detailed financial business cases to FCSD leadership.
• Lead project management from inception to post-launch support across functions.
• Coordinate benchmarking with Ford and external industry partners.
• Support global FCSD operations with continuous improvement and space optimization.
