Boston Scientific seeks a Urology R&D Engineering Co-op to gain hands-on experience in developing innovative medical technologies for urology. You will work with experienced engineers on next-generation products, systems and processes while supporting regulatory paths and commercial launches.

You will collaborate across cross-functional teams, leveraging engineering principles to real-world challenges and gaining exposure to the medical device industry in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical, Biomedical or Electrical engineering, with expected graduation fall/winter 2027 or spring 2030.
• Available to participate for the full duration of the co-op from May 17th or May 24th – December 17th, 2027.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to new product development activities toward regulatory approval and commercial launch.
• Support development and analysis of products, materials, and processes under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Analyze technical problems, evaluate data, and inform engineering decisions.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation communicating test results and findings.
• Assist in troubleshooting product and process challenges related to design and manufacturing.
• Translate customer needs into product requirements and design specifications.
• Support the development of new concepts, designs and processes with innovative ideas.
• Compile, analyze and report data to establish performance standards for new or modified products.
• Support the development and execution of test procedures and train technicians on new processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with project objectives.
• Participate in engineering projects aligned with business needs and personal interests.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and product quality per Boston Scientific policies.
