Byline Bank is seeking a Jr. Universal Banker in the Chicago area. The role supports Universal Bankers, conducts cash vault activities, and delivers sales and service across bank products while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The position emphasizes accurate transactions, cross-selling opportunities, and high standard of customer service in a hybrid work environment. Prior teller experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Some work experience preferred.
• 1+ years of teller or personal banker experience is a plus.
• Banking experience preferred but not required; open to hospitality/retail customer service.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills; able to work fast-paced.

Responsabilités

• Greets customers and directs calls to staff.
• Processes transactions and new account openings accurately and promptly.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
• Assists with accounts openings/services and cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintains accuracy and compliance in all account documentation.
• Processes teller transactions and cash handling tasks.
