Sargent & Lundy in Cary, NC seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead transmission and distribution projects. You will coordinate with internal and external teams to drive execution across the full lifecycle.

The role requires 10+ years in electric utilities and 7+ years in project management, with strong communication and team mentorship. A hybrid schedule is offered, with relocation support possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the electric utility industry (engineering, construction, planning).
• 7+ years in Project Management of Utility Transmission projects.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and client liaison.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects, administer contracts, plan and manage resources.
• Own project performance including safety, schedule and budget.
• Direct the project team, mentor members, and coordinate with clients.
• Maintain client relationships with functional leads and stakeholders.
• Lead on-schedule, on-budget project delivery and risk management.
• Support KPI reporting for schedule, budget and dashboards.
