Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company seeks a qualified Engineer to apply technical knowledge to complex Transmission & Distribution projects, ensuring reliable and safe construction, operation and maintenance of T&D systems.

The role emphasizes developing standards and design specifications, evaluating materials and technology, and providing guidance to engineers and internal/external stakeholders while maintaining regulatory compliance and high technical quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related applied science
• Five to eight years of engineering experience for Engineer Senior, or five years for Engineer III
• ABET-accredited or IEA-recognized engineering degree; MRA considered
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain construction standards, material specifications, and design specifications and software.
• Evaluate materials and products and perform engineering analyses to support design and construction teams.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to less experienced engineers and interface with internal/external stakeholders.
