Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) seeks a Supervisor of Transmission Planning Engineering to lead long-range transmission planning and modeling activities. Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree required with five years of related utility experience.
Broad knowledge of engineering disciplines and strong communication and people skills.
Understanding of contract development and negotiation with a track record of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Supervise department engineering work to meet schedule and budget.
Develop plans and proposals that meet customer needs and are profitable.
Monitor expenditures and ensure prudent use of company resources.
Maintain a competent multi-discipline staff and provide leadership.
Collaborate with management, interconnections, regulatory, compliance, and operations.
Lead long-range transmission planning and comply with NERC/FERC in modeling.
