Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company (APS) seeks Project Manager I/II to lead transmission and construction initiatives, overseeing planning, execution, budgets and schedules. You will collaborate with engineers, business leaders and stakeholders to deliver infrastructure investments that support APS's long-term energy strategy.

Ideal candidates have a track record in project coordination, strong planning and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a focus on grid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems or related field and two years of PM experience.
• For higher levels, combination of college coursework and/or experience totaling six to nine years in project scopes, timelines, budgets.
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating teams to meet objectives and schedules.
• Strong planning, budgeting, scheduling and risk identification skills.
• Ability to lead teams of five to ten and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, monitors and manages all aspects of moderately scaled projects across one or more departments or business units.
• Develops and presents comprehensive project plans to sponsors and management and obtains approvals.
• Leads or coordinates planning, resourcing, staffing, reporting, vendor relationships and troubleshooting.
• Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
• Oversees schedules and directs team resources to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensures results meet quality, reliability, schedule and cost requirements.
• Provides timely updates to teams, management, sponsors and senior leadership.
