Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited institution.
Eight years of engineering-related work experience.
Approved Engineer degrees in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, and Structural.
A review of the degree program curriculum must be completed by Engineering department management.

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering plans, designs, analyses, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reviews.
Interface with customers and management to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
Enhance department performance by coordinating analysis and recommending improvements.
May oversee engineering programs and coordinate with cross-organizational partners.
Lead small- to medium-scale projects from planning to coordination.
Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
Contribute to long-range strategies for site problems.
Ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
Stay current with technology and industry developments.
