Job summary

Toshiba America, Inc. seeks a compassionate Benefits Specialist to join our Total Rewards team and support a nationwide employee base.

You will help colleagues understand health, welfare, retirement, and leave benefits and collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, HRIS, and external providers. This hybrid role offers daily problem solving, process improvements, and opportunities to expand expertise across benefits administration, compliance, and reporting while upholding service quality and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 2-4 years of benefits administration, HR operations, or related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Answer employee questions on medical, dental, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
• Resolve complex benefit inquiries with vendors promptly and accurately.
• Administer enrollments, life events, terminations, and retirement plan transactions.
• Support Open Enrollment planning, communications, testing and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Payroll and HRIS to ensure correct deductions and processing.
• Generate benefit reports, monitor utilization, and ensure compliance.
