Job summary

Jacobs invites a Telecommunications BIM Designer to advance telecom infrastructure projects using BIM and CAD tools such as Revit and AutoCAD. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to create accurate models and deliverables that support project delivery.

You will maintain BIM models, support design reviews and coordination meetings, ensure clash-free designs, and help implement digital workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams delivering telecommunications, infrastructure, or building projects.
• Proficiency with BIM and CAD software tools, such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems, design documentation, and BIM workflows.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models, drawings, and design documentation for telecommunications systems across a variety of projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
• Support project teams by producing deliverables that meet schedules and quality standards.
• Participate in client discussions and design coordination meetings as needed.
