Job summary

Wiley|Wilson seeks a Technology Systems Project Designer to design telecommunications networks, structured cabling, AV, and electronic security systems in Raleigh, NC. You will develop Revit models and construction documents while coordinating with senior staff across disciplines.

The role requires 3–7 years of relevant experience in the AEC industry, an engineering/architecture background, and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience designing telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for vertical building projects.
• Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is required.
• An Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for a variety of projects.
• Develop and coordinate Revit models and construction documents.
• Collaborate with senior Technology Systems staff to deliver quality designs and develop technical expertise.
• Attend client and project meetings to coordinate items related to project scope and design. Approximate travel requirement 10%-15%.
• Coordinate Technology Systems designs with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with project quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
