Job summary

Wiley|Wilson is a 100% employee-owned architecture-engineering firm seeking a Senior Technology Systems Designer to lead telecom, cabling, AV, and security system design for building projects. You will work with clients and a multidisciplinary team, providing technical guidance and mentoring other designers.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of Technology Systems design experience, Revit proficiency, a BICSI RCDD certification, and eligibility to work in the United States. AVIXA CTS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing Technology Systems for buildings including telecommunications, structured cabling, AV and electronic security.
• Experience in the AEC industry is required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of telecommunications and structured cabling, AV, and electronic security systems.
• Develop and oversee Revit models, system layouts, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate Technology Systems designs with clients and other design disciplines.
• Attend client and project meetings to coordinate scope and design.
• Mentor junior staff and manage design tasks.
• Ensure projects meet Wiley|Wilson quality standards within schedules and budgets.
