Job summary

Wiley|Wilson in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Technology Systems Project Designer to design telecommunications networks, structured cabling, AV, and electronic security systems for vertical building projects. You will develop Revit models, coordinate with senior staff, and contribute to construction documents while advancing technical expertise.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience designing telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for vertical building projects.
• Experience in the AEC industry is required.
• An Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design telecommunications networks, cabling, AV, and security systems for various projects.
• Develop and coordinate Revit models and construction documents.
• Collaborate with Technology Systems staff to deliver quality designs and develop technical expertise.
• Attend client/project meetings to coordinate scope and design.
• Travel expected approximately 10-15%.
• Coordinate Technology Systems with other disciplines.
• Ensure work meets quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
