Job summary

Wiley|Wilson, a 100% employee-owned architecture and engineering firm, seeks a Technology Systems Project Designer for our Atlanta, GA team. You will design telecommunications networks, cabling systems, AV, and electronic security for diverse building projects, collaborating with senior staff to deliver high-quality designs while expanding your technical expertise.

You should have 3–7 years of experience in the AEC industry, strong Revit skills, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience designing telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for vertical building projects.
• Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is required.
• An Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for a variety of projects.
• Develop and coordinate Revit models and construction documents.
• Collaborate with senior Technology Systems staff to deliver quality designs and develop technical expertise.
• Attend client and project meetings to coordinate items related to project scope and design. Approximate travel requirement 10%–15%.
• Coordinate Technology Systems designs with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with project quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
