Job summary

Wiley|Wilson in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Technology Systems Designer to lead the design of telecom, structured cabling, audiovisual and electronic security systems for diverse building projects. You will develop Revit models, coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure delivery within schedule and budget.

A BICSI RCDD is required; AVIXA CTS certification is a plus; 8+ years in the AEC industry; eligible to work in the United States and obtain security

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing Technology Systems for buildings
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit including model setup, linking, navigation, troubleshooting, and developing Technology Systems designs through completion
• BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is required
• AVIXA CTS certification is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience considered
• Federal government project experience is a plus; eligible to work in the United States and obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of telecommunications, structured cabling, audiovisual, and electronic security systems
• Develop and oversee Revit models, system layouts, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate Technology Systems designs with clients, architects, engineers, and other project disciplines
• Attend client and project meetings to coordinate scope and design
• Mentor junior staff, assign design tasks, and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery
• Help ensure projects meet Wiley|Wilson quality standards while maintaining schedules and budgets
