Job summary

Wiley|Wilson is seeking a Technology Systems Project Designer in the Lynchburg, VA area to design telecommunications networks, structured cabling, audio/visual, and electronic security systems for diverse projects. You will develop and coordinate Revit models and construction documents while collaborating with senior staff to deliver high-quality designs.

Applicants should have 3-7 years of relevant experience in the AEC industry, an Associate's degree or higher in Engineering/Architecture, and

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience designing telecommunications networks, structured cabling, A/V, and electronic security for vertical building projects.
• Experience in the AEC industry is required.
• Associate's degree or higher in Engineering/Architecture or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for a variety of projects.
• Develop and coordinate Revit models and construction documents.
• Collaborate with senior Technology Systems staff to deliver quality designs and develop technical expertise.
• Attend client and project meetings to coordinate items related to project scope and design. Approximate travel requirement 10%-15%.
• Coordinate Technology Systems designs with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with project quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
