BCG Attorney Search is seeking a talented associate in Madison, WI for the Technology Licensing, Data Privacy, and Security team. The role requires 4–7 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or technology transactions, with a JD from an accredited law school.

Hybrid work arrangement offered. The position emphasizes advising on data privacy compliance, drafting and negotiating tech agreements, and contributing to client-focused thought leadership while supporting incident response

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 4–7 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or technology transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology-related agreements.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client matters independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on data privacy, cybersecurity laws and AI governance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate technology and data protection agreements.
• Lead incident response efforts and breach investigations.
• Provide guidance on IP ownership, protection, and licensing.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise on obligations.
• Contribute to client-facing thought leadership.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver integrated legal solutions.
