GEA Group in Oakdale, MN, is seeking a Technical Sales Support Engineer to strengthen our North American service business and provide technical and commercial support for aftermarket opportunities across spray drying, powder handling, fluid bed systems, and related equipment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Service Sales Managers, Project Managers, Engineering, and Centers of Competence to improve plant performance, reliability, and environmental compliance, while supporting spare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, food science, business or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Sales/Sales Support preferred.
• Willingness to travel about 10% of time; strong technical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and commercial support for aftermarket opportunities.
• Identify part numbers and prepare service project quotations.
• Collaborate with Service Sales, Account Managers, and Project Managers.
• Develop proposals for service projects and spare parts packages.
• Utilize CRM as the primary sales information tool and maintain records.
• Travel to client sites as needed for sales support/evaluation.
