RFA Engineering is seeking a motivated Technical Recruiter to support growth across the US. The role is hybrid from Eden Prairie, MN or Dubuque, IA, working with hiring managers to attract and place top engineering talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent recruiting experience.
• 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and networking.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, software, or technical positions.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
• Experience working in a staffing agency or technical recruiting environment
• Understanding of engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, or systems engineering
• Experience supporting campus recruiting or recruiting events

Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and screen engineering and technical candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities.
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, technical skill requirements, and team culture.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Conduct phone screens and initial candidate evaluations.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within applicant tracking systems and internal databases.
• Develop and post job descriptions across recruiting platforms.
• Support recruiting events, career fairs, university outreach, and networking activities.
• Build strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive recruiting experience.
• Assist with recruiting process improvements and talent acquisition strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams on workforce planning and staffing priorities
