Job summary

Versay is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager in Illinois/Chicago to partner with engineering, product, and operations to define scope, timelines, and success metrics for feature development and platform enhancements. You will drive prioritization, manage the backlog, and ensure timely communication across teams.

Responsibilities include stakeholder coordination, backlog execution, release planning, and documenting deployments and progress.

Qualifications

3–4+ years in a technical project management role.
Proficiency with Jira or similar ticketing system.
Knowledge of Scrum practices (sprint planning, review, standups, grooming).
Experience interacting with internal and external customers.
Experience in a highly technical environment and diverse teams.
PM lifecycle knowledge and strong communication skills.
Preferred: PMP certification.

Responsibilities

Partner with Engineering, Product, Operations, Support, and leaders to set scope, timeline, technical direction, and success metrics.
Deliver Objectives by executing projects and prioritizing resources.
Understand technical stack and contribute to scalable, reliable designs.
Track and execute backlog items, enhancements, or bugs.
Maintain timely communications to leadership and teams.
Document artifacts, deployments, release notes, and monthly reports.
Coordinate user acceptance testing and releases.
Lead retrospective meetings after project completion.
