Job summary

Verista in Alameda, CA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead program planning and execution across systems engineering, digital engineering, software, hardware, quality, and other technical teams in a hybrid environment.

You will drive agile planning, manage risks and dependencies, mentor teams, and deliver on milestones while communicating with stakeholders across the organization. Travel quarterly to Alameda is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of technical project or program management experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing integrated schedules, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced development environment.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience applying them in practice.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, communication, and meeting-facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead program planning and development of integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, work-back plans, dependencies, and resource assumptions.
• Drive cross-functional delivery across Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, software, hardware, quality, and other technical teams to ensure alignment with program objectives.
• Facilitate planning and governance sessions to define scope, deliverables, sequencing, priorities, key decisions, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor project performance and execution, identifying schedule variance, constraints, dependencies, and resource issues while coordinating mitigation and recovery actions.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum and hybrid project-management processes, including backlog, sprint/release planning, prioritization, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
