Job summary

Verathon Inc. seeks a Software Project Manager to guide software development teams from planning through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget results aligned with corporate goals and stakeholder expectations.

You will partner with the PM team to manage schedules, resources, and dashboards, while coordinating client meetings and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships to drive next steps with urgency.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of professional experience in software development projects with Agile.
• Experience working directly with software dev teams to align schedules and keep projects on track.
• Experience managing budgets, balancing resources, and providing accurate timelines.
• Ability to analyze burn up and burn down charts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Kanban boards, Gantt charts, and Jira.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Management team to support various Software Engineering initiatives.
• Track multiple tasks daily in a fast-paced environment including maintaining project schedules, updating templates, and dashboards.
• Schedule project-related client meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, track action items, and drive next steps.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding tasks with internal and external team members.
• Maintain strong interpersonal relationships with peers and leaders.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency at all times!
