Job summary

Verista is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional programs in life sciences, driving integrated schedules, Agile practices, and cross-team coordination to meet program objectives.

You will translate technical discussions into actionable plans, manage risks, and report progress. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years PM experience are required; this role offers hybrid work and quarterly travel to Alameda, CA. Salary range provided below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of technical project/program management in product development or technology.
• Proven ability to develop integrated schedules with milestones and dependencies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication; effective meeting facilitation.
• Familiarity with systems engineering and MBSE practices; PMP/PMI-ACP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead program planning and integrated project schedules with milestones and resources.
• Drive cross-functional delivery across engineering, software, hardware, QA, and other teams.
• Facilitate governance sessions to define scope, priorities, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor performance, risks, and mitigation actions; coordinate changes and escalations.
• Apply Agile/Scrum and hybrid processes including backlog, sprints, and retrospectives.
• Develop leadership reporting, dashboards, and milestone tracking.
• Support supplier, resource, and financial management; knowledge transfer and transitions.
