Job summary

Accounting Career Consultants is seeking an Inside Sales & Product Support Engineer to provide technical and commercial support for standard aftermarket offerings. You will help identify products, prepare quotes, coordinate supplier information, and support opportunities through order handoff.

The role involves working with regional sales teams, engineering, product management, and procurement, with a hybrid schedule (three days in-office, two remote).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in technical inside sales, proposal support, engineered equipment, or related industrial environment.
• Ability to understand mechanical equipment scopes, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Experience supporting RFQs, quote development, proposal preparation, supplier coordination, or order processing.
• Strong technical and commercial judgment with escalation ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first-line inside sales and product support resource for standard aftermarket opportunities.
• Prepare quotes and proposal packages for standard offerings.
• Coordinate RFQs with suppliers and track responses and quote status.
• Maintain accurate customer, site, and product information in systems.
• Support sales teams with meeting prep and post-meeting follow-up.
• Escalate non-standard or high-risk issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Coordinate handoff from quote to order execution.
