Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Technical Director, Project Management for our Mid-Atlantic South Region. The role provides PM leadership for major transportation programs, with a hybrid work model and offices in Baltimore, DC, or Herndon.

You will guide budgets, schedules, and performance metrics while coordinating with clients and project teams. Ideal candidates have 12+ years post-education experience, PMP-like credentials, and strong communication and leadership skills to manage complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or related discipline.
• 12+ years of relevant post-education experience with 5+ years in transportation projects.
• Proficient understanding of project delivery process within A/E/C industry.
• Essential PM certification or equivalent (e.g., PMP, CAP-M).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for major transportation programs and projects.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs; monitor expenses.
• Support proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules and resource plans.
• Coordinate change management and quality assurance activities.
• Maintain regular communications with the client including status reporting.
