Job summary

State Street is seeking a junior Technical Business Analyst to support Product Management with technical analysis and documentation. You will collaborate with a stellar team to design new functionality and ensure accurate data-models and workflows.

Role focuses on trading infrastructure, asset management processes, and detailed technical deliverables while thriving in a hybrid work model and a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Coding ability in Python, VBA and SQL
• Power user of Excel
• Familiarity with FIX, REST API, SFTP, JSON, XML, SWIFT FIN/MX

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Fund Connect infrastructure, data-models and database architecture.
• Conduct detailed front-to-back analysis of trading & settlement workflows for asset management & liquidity products.
• Deliver high-quality, detailed technical documentation including workflow diagrams, GUI definition and screen mock-ups.
• Provide input into database technical design (Oracle, SQL server).
• Create and manage administration of documentation including product development schedules, release schedules, bug tracking and user manuals.
• Contribute to the design & testing of new functionality and GUIs.
• Work autonomously with confidence in a fast-moving, complex technical environment.
• Build solid relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups of differing levels of seniority.
