Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a junior Technical Business Analyst to work with a skilled team of BAs on the Fund Connect infrastructure and related data architectures. You will analyze trading workflows for asset management and liquidity products and collaborate with product, tech and business teams to document requirements and GUI definitions.

The role demands a strong technical background, attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical business analysis experience in financial services
• Experience with electronic trading platforms (Mutual Fund, FX, Fixed Income)
• Self-motivated with integrity and collaborative spirit
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
• Clear and confident communicator with ability to explain complex concepts

Responsibilities

• Understand Fund Connect infrastructure, data models and DB architecture
• Conduct front-to-back analysis of trading and settlement workflows for asset management and liquidity products
• Produce high-quality technical documentation including requirements, diagrams, GUI definitions and screen mock-ups
• Contribute to database design input (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Create and manage documentation such as development schedules, release plans, bug tracking and user manuals
• Assist in design and testing of new functionality and GUIs
• Work autonomously in a fast-moving, complex technical environment
• Build strong relationships across cross-functional groups of varying seniority
