Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a Business Analyst - Risk to synthesize market requirements and collaborate with development and operations teams to deliver industry leading risk management solutions. The BA will also work closely with clients to gather requirements and provide workflows and documentation, guiding pre-sales and implementation teams for successful delivery.

The BA will help drive product strategy, define prioritized requirements, and validate work with the product development

Qualifications

• Familiarity with financial risk models and risk vendors (MSCI, Axioma).
• Solid understanding of risk measures (Ex-Ante Risk, Ex-Post Risk).
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Advanced degree in mathematical finance or business.

Responsibilities

• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced agile environment to deliver a high-quality product.
• Streamline data quality management across asset classes within front and middle office workflows.
• Act as a trusted expert who understands how data integrates across applications.
• Gather requirements for products–research, document, and prioritize product requirements.
• Interact with clients: presenting new features, gathering feedback.
• Partner with development to implement and refine features.
• Assist QA with feature validation.
• Collaborate with documentation to ensure accurate product documentation.
• Provide client beta testing support.
• Assist implementation and support to resolve escalated client issues.
• Work with the product manager to understand market needs.
• Prioritize and maintain the product backlog and forward roadmap.
