Job summary

State Street Markets is seeking a junior Technical Business Analyst to collaborate with a stellar team of BAs developing the product through its next growth phase. This role focuses on technical analysis and documentation to support the Product Management team in designing new functionality and features.

With a strong technical background, the successful candidate will show a track record of delivering solutions with attention to detail and intellect.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technical business analysis and/or product in a financial services environment.
• Experience with electronic trading platforms in Mutual Fund, FX and/or Fixed Income spaces.
• Proactive, highly self-motivated with integrity and willingness to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Fund Connect infrastructure, data-models and database architecture.
• Conduct front-to-back analysis of trading and settlement workflows for asset management and liquidity products.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including requirements, workflow diagrams, GUI definitions and screen mock-ups.
• Provide input into database design (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Create and manage documentation including development schedules, release plans, bug tracking and user manuals.
• Contribute to design and testing of new functionality and GUIs.
• Work autonomously in a fast-moving, complex technical environment.
• Build relationships across multiple functional groups.
