Job summary

State Street is seeking a senior technical developer to join the Data, Markets, Corporate Functions IT team. You will analyze, design, code, test, and deploy medium to large software enhancements for Fixed Income and derivatives processing, supporting vendor products like SUMMIT and internal code bases.

You will collaborate across business analysts, QA, and product owners, contributing to design docs and reviews, and ensuring production reliability across NA and EMEA regions in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software engineering experience in financial services preferred.
• Degree in software engineering, CS or related field required at minimum BS.
• Experience with vendor products (SUMMIT) and modern cloud platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead back-end/front-end design for complex business problems.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and product owners to implement scalable solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy software using Unix, C++, Java, Python and related tools.
• Perform troubleshooting on large-scale upgrades and client implementations.
• Maintain production/test environments across NA/EMEA regions to meet SLAs.
