State Street seeks a junior Technical Business Analyst to join a stellar team of BAs delivering the product’s next growth phase. You will focus on technical analysis and documentation to support Product Management in designing new functionality and features.

With a strong technical background, you will show a track record of delivering solutions with attention to detail, working in a fast-moving environment, and collaborating across product, technical and business teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical business analysis and/or product in a financial services environment.
• Relevant experience with electronic trading platforms in the Mutual Fund, FX and/or Fixed Income space.
• Confident, clear communicator with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.

Responsabilités

• Develop a deep understanding of existing Fund Connect infrastructure, data-models and database architecture.
• Conduct detailed front-to-back analysis of trading & settlement workflows for asset management & liquidity products.
• Deliver high-quality, detailed technical documentation including workflow diagrams, GUI definitions and screen mock-ups.
• Provide input into database technical design (Oracle, SQL server).
• Create and manage administration of documentation including development schedules, release schedules, bug tracking and user manuals.
• Contribute to the design & testing of new functionality and GUI’s.
• Work autonomously in a fast-moving, complex technical environment.
• Build solid relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups.

We are seeking a junior Technical Business Analyst to collaborate with a stellar team of BA’s developing the product through its next phase of growth. This role focuses on technical analysis and documentation to support the Product Management team in designing new functionality and features.

With a strong technical background, the successful candidate will be able to show a successful track-record of delivering solutions where attention to detail and intellectual.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What You Will Be Responsible For

What We Value

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical business analysis and/or product in a financial services environment
• Relevant experience with electronic trading platforms in the Mutual Fund, FX and/or Fixed Income space
• Highly self-motivated with exceptional integrity
• Willingness to learn and eagerness to collaborate as part of a larger team.
• Confident & clear communicator
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to any audience.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Technically competent with the ability to code in Python, VBA and SQL
• Power user of Excel
• Messaging familiarity with FIX, REST API, SFTP, JSON, XML, SWIFT FIN/MX

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $113,750 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
