Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC in New York, NY seeks an Intermediate Technical Architectural Designer for corporate/commercial workplace interiors and retail banking interiors. Hybrid schedule with opportunities across NYC-based offices and occasional client sites.

The role covers site surveys, construction documentation, coordination with clients and consultants, and ensuring NYC/IBC code compliance. Requires 5–8 years of relevant experience and expert Revit and AutoCAD skills; salary range

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (BA); MA a plus.
Minimum of 5-8 continuous professional technical experience in Corporate / Commercial Workplace / Retail Interiors.
Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Full understanding of contract documents and standards.
Strong knowledge of NYC Building Codes and NYC Zoning.

Responsibilities

Site survey and documentation.
General site code review (egress, fixture counts, path of travel).
Assist with preparation of budget scope drawings and specifications.
Technical coordination with the design team.
Full construction documentation including technical detailing and specifications.
Coordination with client, landlord, and consultants.
Redline review of construction documents.
Issue and distribute documentation.
Respond to questions from bidders.
Attend weekly project meetings and respond to RFIs.
Site inspections and layout approvals.
Coordinate revisions, bulletins and addenda.
Review shop drawings and submittals.
Punchlist inspection, compilation and distribution.
Assist in project close-out documentation.
