Job summary

Medidata is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for a hybrid role in the NYC metro area. You’ll serve as the main liaison between support and core engineering, handle work requests, diagnose issues, and document resolutions for customers and teams.

Ideal candidates have SQL, Ruby, Javascript, Git, Visual Studio, API/REST familiarity, and experience with incident or project management tools, plus a collaborative, customer-focused mindset. On-site 3 days/week per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Experience with Ruby and HTML code.
• Experience with API/web services and SQL.
• Proficiency with C#, Javascript, Visual Studio and ASP.NET is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for internal and external customers.
• Manage work requests describing issues and bugs.
• Develop fixes or SQL scripts to resolve problems.
• Document resolutions and contribute to knowledge base.
• Participate in on-call rotations and VIP calls.
• Collaborate with core engineering teams on issues.
