Job summary

Medidata is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to act as the primary link between customers and core engineering teams in a hybrid remote/on-site role. You will diagnose complex issues and coordinate fixes across software and data platforms.

Responsibilities include handling on‑call rotations, reproducing problems, writing SQL scripts, and creating knowledge base articles using AI tools and GitHub Copilot within Visual Studio for Ruby, C#, JavaScript, and ASP.NET.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or Life Sciences or equivalent engineering experience.
• Experience with API/web services and SQL across MySQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Snowflake.
• Experience with C#, Javascript, Python and ASP.NET.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for internal and external customers.
• Reproduce technical problems, debug systems, and diagnose causes.
• Develop fixes or SQL scripts to resolve issues; document resolutions.
• Participate in on‑call rotations for urgent off‑hours issues.
• Create knowledge base articles and reports for management.
