Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a Supervisor to support the Planned & Investment Team by coordinating and scheduling the workload of trades colleagues and contractors. The role combines line management with practical delivery of capital works, in a hybrid work pattern agreed with the Line Manager.

You will lead front line staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, manage diaries, and ensure deadlines and KPIs are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating and diarising large teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation, and diary management skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and KPIs.
• Customer-focused with problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication with tenants and colleagues.
• Experience leading front-line staff and conducting 1:1s.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Operational Resource Planners to schedule trades and contractors.
• Allocate work to ensure efficient use of resources and meet KPIs.
• Provide 1:1s and address performance issues within policy.
