Job summary

Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Tax Manager to support our market on a hybrid schedule (average 4 days/week in office). You will manage clients’ tax compliance, anticipate issues, and identify planning opportunities while mentoring junior staff and coordinating deadlines and communications.

The role requires a CPA license, a bachelor’s in accounting (master’s preferred), and at least 5 years in public accounting with 2 years in management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with at least 2 years in managerial roles.
• Strong background and understanding of pass through entity structures and a general understanding of corporate taxation.
• General understanding of partnership taxation, particularly with respect to partnership equity investments.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems for clients in industries such as manufacturing, real estate, professional services, and high net worth individuals.
• Manage engagements and provide knowledgeable review of complex returns including tax provision work.
• Lead Tax Staff and Seniors in a dynamic environment and demonstrate superior client service skills.
• Train and develop less experienced professional staff.
