Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Tax Manager to support our market on a hybrid schedule (average 4 days in office). The successful candidate will manage client tax compliance, anticipate tax issues, and mentor staff.

This role requires CPA certification and at least 5 years in public accounting, including 2 years in a managerial capacity. You will lead engagements, review complex returns including tax provisions, and leverage project management and communication skills to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred.
• CPA certified with an active license required.
• Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of pass-through entity structures and corporate taxation.
• Knowledge of partnership taxation, especially with respect to partnership equity investments.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client tax issues and ensure timely deliverables.
• Lead engagements and review complex returns including tax provision work.
• Mentor and develop Tax Staff and Seniors.
• Coordinate client communications and manage workflows and deadlines.
• Provide superior client service and build strong relationships.
