Job summary

Cherry Bekaert’s Core Tax Services team in Louisville, KY, is hiring a Tax Manager on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office). The role focuses on managing client tax compliance, anticipating issues, and guiding staff growth while maintaining strong client communications.

The Manager will lead engagements, review complex returns and tax provisions, and provide opportunities for professional development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred.
• CPA certification with an active license.
• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience with at least 2 years in management.
• Strong background and understanding of C-Corporations.
• Knowledge of partnership taxation and ASC 740 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems for clients in industries such as manufacturing, technology, professional services and health / life sciences.
• Manage engagements and provide knowledgeable review of complex returns including tax provision work.
• Lead Tax Staff and Seniors in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrate superior client service skills.
