Job summary

Endurance IT Services is seeking a T2 Help Desk professional to provide technology support for a non-profit organization and their affiliated entities, based in Norfolk, VA. This hybrid role serves as the primary IT contact, assisting staff with hardware, software, and network issues to maintain productivity.

The position requires 2-4 years of help desk experience, strong Office 365 and VPN knowledge, and the ability to work across Windows and macOS environments.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of help desk or technical support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows workstations, servers, software applications, and peripherals.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
• Proficiency with Windows and macOS environments.
• Familiarity with VPN technologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and travel as needed.
• Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and application issues.
• Fulfill IT requests, including system access, equipment provisioning, and hardware purchases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues following established support procedures.
• Document support requests, resolutions, and technical updates in the ticketing system.
• Serve as a liaison between end users and internal IT resources.
• Support Microsoft Office applications, Windows and Apple devices, and VPN connectivity.
• Provide occasional evening and weekend on-call support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
