Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to secure cyber-physical embedded systems across a range of defense products. You will join a multidisciplinary team and address evolving threats, focusing on security and resilience throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires a STEM degree with 1+ years of experience or equivalent, the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, and a willingness to work in a hybrid Indianapolis setting with three in-office days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 1+ years of experience, or
• Master’s degree in STEM with no experience, or
• PhD in STEM with no experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with core systems security and LibertyWorks teams to define security requirements and resiliency for the system.
• Learn and apply secure cyber-resilient engineering practices across the product lifecycle (requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, support).
• Work with government, customers, suppliers, and industry experts to understand and meet system requirements.
• Create digital models using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to meet program expectations.
• Develop and promote systems security and resilience best practices across the business.
