Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Senior Control System Engineer to own assigned control system functions, guide a small team, and collaborate globally on flagship programs. Travel up to 20% between sites and 10% elsewhere is possible. This hybrid role requires a secure workspace and periodic in-office days.

The candidate will work on electrical, electronics and mechatronics requirements per ARP4754A/DO-178C, mentoring engineers and delivering quality results across life cycle development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering with required work eligibility.
• Minimum 2+ years of product development engineering experience or higher education as listed.
• U.S. Citizen status is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams and customers to develop control system requirements and verification.
• Lead a cross-functional team to uphold high standards of capability and professionalism.
• Provide engineering process guidance and training.
• Prepare and review engineering work products for quality and completeness.
