Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation seeks a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures protecting the organization from cyber threats. You will work closely with IT and security teams in a fast-paced environment to strengthen our security posture.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with network security technologies, vulnerability assessment, and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 2 years of experience in network security, cybersecurity or IT security roles.
• Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• JD/PhD
• In lieu of degree, 6 years of experience in network security, cybersecurity or IT security

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC).
• Monitor network traffic and security logs for anomalies and threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to enhance security posture.
• Maintain security tooling on prem and in the Cloud.
• Configure security tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP).
• Stay updated with threats, trends, and technologies.
• Document security incidents, findings, and mitigations.
