Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC in Maryland seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support PMA-201 at NAS Patuxent River, Lexington Park. The role focuses on research, development, acquisition and sustainment of Navy air-to-ground weapons, including Harpoon.

The selected candidate will review drawings, manage ECNs/RFVs/ECPs, track requirements, and apply SE methods to develop modern complex systems. A DoD clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of recent and relevant experience required.
• Experience with DoD acquisition processes and defense programs.
• Direct experience with Harpoon or similar weapon systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, formulate, design, and test engineering solutions to problems.
• Review technical drawings and documents to process ECNs, RFVs, ECPs.
• Track and validate requirements and perform risk management.
• Conduct configuration management and support system development.
• Contribute to technical documentation and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, logisticians, and multi‑disciplinary teams.
