Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Hybrid Systems Engineer / Dev Engineer / DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, automate deployment pipelines, and work with software teams to release code safely. The role blends infrastructure management, software development, and CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities include provisioning AWS and on-prem environments, building pipelines, scripting, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and maintaining observability.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration experience and scripting.
• Experience with AWS and IaC tools, CI/CD pipelines, and container platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain cloud environments (AWS) and on-premises servers using IaC.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to streamline operations.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes.
• Implement observability, dashboards, and alerts for reliability (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Collaborate with software teams to ensure secure, reliable software releases.
• Enforce security best practices, manage secrets, and perform vulnerability scanning.
