Job summary

Nightwing is seeking DevOps Engineers to automate the deployment and management of Bespin cloud engagement kits for federal cyber operations. You will build CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure-as-code, and scale deployments for incident response and threat hunting.

Required: U.S. citizenship, active TS/SCI, 3+ years in DevOps/software engineering, strong IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible), CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), AWS, Linux, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, YAML).
• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and APIs.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated engagement kit deployment.
• Manage source control and code repositories for infrastructure configurations.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources.
• Enhance kit capabilities through automation and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects and administrators to streamline deployment processes.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
• Support troubleshooting and performance optimization during active operations.
• Maintain version control and change management processes.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual effort.
• Ensure consistency and repeatability across engagement kit deployments.
• Participate in security hardening and compliance automation efforts.
