Nightwing seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain the backbone of our advanced systems infrastructure in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting. You will own planning, configuring, and sustaining scalable, secure environments, with hands-on work across Linux, containerization, virtualization, and automation.

Candidates should demonstrate mastery of Kubernetes, Rancher, Proxmox, Citrix, ELK, and DevSecOps practices, plus strong scripting in Python, Bash, or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration.
• Strong virtualization knowledge, including Citrix environments.
• Proficiency with monitoring/observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Linux administration and network management expertise.
• Scripting/automation with Python, Bash, Terraform.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain containerized environments (Kubernetes, Rancher).
• Design scalable virtualization using Proxmox and Citrix clients.
• Manage logging/observability stacks (ELK) for real-time performance.
• Plan and configure network software stacks for microservices and distributed systems.
• Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, Terraform) for provisioning.
• Optimize infrastructure for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with dev and ops to integrate into pipelines.
• Ensure robust security policies with DevSecOps tooling (Git, Ansible, CI/CD).
• Provide guidance on scalability, capacity planning, and risk in virtualized environments.
